Anthony Speaks at Pugin Society Celebration of Pugin's birth

Cram and Ferguson Principal Ethan Anthony spoke to a full house in the crypt at St. Chad's cathedral on the bicentennary celebration of the birth of A.W.N.Pugin. The celebrations were held March 1-3, 2012 in Birmingham, and in Cheadle England. Anthony joined Archbishop Longley, Dean Jerry, lady Wedgewood, Sarah Pugin; great granddaughter of A.W.N. Pugin, Neil Phillips and other luminaries in the crypt at St. Chad's Cathedral for the celebratory speeches and a reception. We later repaired to the grand opening of the Pugin Centre in the lovely village of Cheadle. The Pugin Centre was opened this year with cultural funding from the lottery. The celebration at Cheadle included the Lord mayor and the representative in the House of Lordscurrent Lord Shrewsbury and the MP for Cheadle, the Honorable Member William Cash.
