St. Andrews’ Episcopal
Denver, CO
St Andrew's Church began as a mission of the Cathedral of St. John in the Wilderness in Denver. Augustus Dupont a vice-president of one of the railroad companies provided half of the funding for the growing parish to hire Cram, Goodhue and Ferguson in 1908 to design a new church. Construction had to be halted a year later when funds ran out and was never resumed. Now the parish of St. Andrew's is growing rapidly and in need of additional space for worship and ancillary spaces, such as a sacristy, that were never built. The Church is listed on the National Historic Register. Restoration of the church has begun.
